Road Closure - 14th January - Stonemans Hill

Stonemans Hill is going to be restricted to no through traffic from the 14th January for a maximum of 5 days. The road is closed from the Manor Rd junction to Luanda. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Manor Rd, Firestone Lane, Stonesmans Hill and vice versa.  The restriction is in place so Devon Highways can carry out drainage works.  For additional information contact: SKANSKA UK Telephone: 03301052729..

Bonfires and neighbours

'Tis the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and.... bonfires!! There is no law prohibiting bonfires or regulating times when they can be lit, but they do cause annoyance and add to local air pollution so we would discourage their use for disposal of waste.
